Shop tour: the facade

The shop facade is an homage to every little idealised bookshop you’ve never been to. .. Your eyes might glide by it on any other day, but today you notice it, nestled inbetween a couple of throwaway restaurants in an odd part of town with graffiti’d pavements. The windows are large. The numbers don’t quite match. It could have been dropped into a gap in the highstreet, so conspicuous is its old and unfashionable facade. Yet, there’s neon in the windows. Neon. Maybe you should pop in and have a look.
